I can't remember where I got this recipe but it's a favorite in my home.

You will need approximately 2 pounds of beef (more if you have more than 2-3 people to feed)
......you may use any cut of beef......I usually use either what's on sale or stew beef.
1 can of Golden Mushroom Soup
salt & pepper to taste
about 1/2 c. of sliced onion
(the original recipe calls for a packet of onion soup mix, but we thought it was too salty so I switched to just onions)

Cut the beef into nice big chunks and place in your crock pot.
Add salt and pepper to taste
Add the can of Golden Mushroom soup (I usually rinse the can out with a tiny bit of water)
Place the sliced onions on the top.

Start the cooking with your crock pot turned on high...........until it's cooking well, then turn it down and ignore it for the rest of the day.

Serve with mashed potatoes and a veggie and you have a wonderful comfort meal.
